Instagram post 2191470620683152366_3987475414 ✨FREE PATTERN ALERT✨
Today is day 4 of the #makersadvent, a project organized by the INCREDIBLE @handknitbykam! As a thank you to this amazing community that has given us (and put up with me) so much, 11 other designers and I are doing a free pattern advent calendar until 12 December!

The #ittybittyraglan is my first design and one that I just adore because it’s so darn cute. You can go snag it for free, today only, on Ravelry using the code: makersadvent19

Swipe left to see the most adorable versions knit up by some amazing knitters! Go snag the pattern and know how much I thank you for even looking at my design because, I’m still at the designer preschool level.

Happy Knitting and Happy Happy Holidays friends! Thank you, truly, for all of your support to each and every one of us. We are quite the beautiful community! 🎅🏻
Instagram post 2190998091157954219_3987475414 Y’all, it is high time to talk about the silent killer of yarn projects. It’s one that people rarely discuss and I’m here to bring it to your attention because this information is vital to both your yarn and finished objects.
No, it’s not moths. Nor is it dust, chemicals, water or weather. It’s something that not everyone can often be affected by but to those that are? The damage is catastrophic.

It’s children. Shown above is the damage and if you swipe left, you will see the perpetrator. Please take this warning with seriousness and while we are at it - isn’t he still so cute chewing on that shawl like that? 😍
Instagram post 2183605446563479053_3987475414 I do not like mirrors, nor do I like taking photos of myself. Exhibit A : this photo - I can point out 1.2 million things I dislike about it. I don’t own a large mirror in my house because I’ll just get all Judgey McJudgerson about how I look or what’s wrong with my face, so on and so forth. The (finished, yay!) sweater alone makes my eye twitch because there are mistakes that I know about. Self-confidence has been something I have lacked my entire life and a huge issue I work on daily because there ain’t no way I’m going to allow my kids to feel this way. The struggle is ongoing for me but, at snails pace, I try to like myself a bit more each day and I’ve got a long road ahead. // This was taken after work, with greasy hair, likely not smelling my best but hey this how I look, literally, all of the time. Except typically I’m in pajamas, but I will spare your eyes. I only save that look for special occasions - like dropping the kids off at school.
Instagram post 2181637856345514351_3987475414 Wednesday work in progress // Alternatively titled: How to avoid what you should be working on.
Instagram post 2177706730803626364_3987475414 It’s been ages since I’ve knit one of these but when I saw Mocha sleeping in this blanket I made? My heart melted into a puddle and now I want a puppy. 📷 : @mocha.the.merle.frenchie
Instagram post 2176504255580747774_3987475414 If I keep this candle close enough? I’ll either have the most amazing smelling sweater, or I’ll accidentally burn the house down. Place your bets people.
